The 1970s and 1980s were deliciously carefree. At that time, Jean-Claude Larrieu travelled a great deal for numerous film shoots, but he always returned to his home port at the Rue de la Goutte d’Or. And he continued to snap pictures of everyday events, calmly and without the obligations associated with any particular project.
In this building where they each had their own apartment, but where they were all friends with a common sense of sharing, Jean-Claude Larrieu documented this life, bohemian by nature rather than by choice.
